Scrapbooking

Time to talk about this topic now. Its painting the town red with the recent opening of "Made with Love", a store selling scrapbook materials and tools.

Yup, although there have been a few stores around but I really think that this one located in Singapura Plaza is the one that has caused it to gained recognition. Its really good though cos I have been so tempted many times in USA to do it but alas I am not creative enough and there are just not enough resources in Singapore.

BTW, the price in USA for the tools and such are sooo much cheaper. If you can get it online, try to do it. For me, I asked my sisters who are studying in USA to purchase for me.

Die! So many hobbies and now got new one some more. I have spent so much on the toold already and am proceedign cautiously in terms of buying tools cos I am very well known for my 3 min interest in new hobbies. Look at my poor guinea pig. I am still taking care of it lah, just rarely play with it liao. Very mean though!

Hmm, so many pictures to put down in scrapbooks but alas, the ideas are slow in coming. I think the most important toool for scrapbooking is a printer.

IS say : "You got one at home mah"

Me: "Ya but not colored plus cannot print photo paper"

IS: "Then use office one lor"

Me: "Cannot lah, so unprofessional, I only have two printers in the office and they are both black and white."

Note: by the way, IS stands for Imaginary Someone So, right now, I really can't wait for the new apartment to be ready so that I can buy my own personal all in one printer.

IS: "Buy now lah. Why must wait till new apt is ready?"

Me: "Cannot, you know how many people live in my house! If I buy now, they will all use and spoil it and I can't bring it over then!"

IS: "Put in your room lah."

Me: "Cannot, my room so cramped liao, where you want me to stash my printer, underneath my pillow????"

So you see my dilenma. Anyways, recently, my friend, JT (who just recently got into scrapbooking too), asked me whether I wanna attend a free vintage scrapbooking class at MWL. But nothing comes free and I need to buy a vintage scrapbook package before I can get the "free" class. And the package cost $90 plus!!!!! REALLY!

So, I figured that I would rather go to Laine's Papeterie and join the vintage class for a fee of $50 plus. I figured it is still cheaper. Tell you when I have attended.
