Made Zha Jiang Mian on Sat. Above is my attempt at taking artistic food pictures. Attempt failed. I think the problem is the bowl, I need a huge plate with small portions of food. Everthing looks more delicious on a huge white plate. Right?

Had lunch with a friend on Sunday and she wants her stylist to achieve my CURRENT state of curls on her own hair. My current is also my LOOSENED curls from February. Glad that my curls are still a looker even if it is not meant to be that way.
Dad had surgery last night! Yup, he was coming down the stairs, slipped and snapped his other tendon. YES, this is his second time snapping his tendons. Boy, does he have weak tendons. I do not know whether to describe it as snapping or breaking. Do you snap or break your tendons? That is him after his day surgery! Poor Dad but he does look quite cheery for a guy who just had surgery and was informed by his doctor that he would be on crutches for at least 6 weeks.
Look at what these two are up to! They stole Dad's crutches......luckily Dad was too groggy to notice!
Cos Dad had his operation in Camden, we decided to have dinner at Whitebait & Kale. FInally got to taste the food after reading all the reviews on the place. It actually serves high class Australian fare and true enough, the food was fabulous. Everything tasted great!
