Bakong is .............

70% boy... cos
  • Gynae did a scan and she says that baby is probably a boy but she refused to confirm until the detailed scan next mth
  • SS, my family chinese physician said that baby is boy
  • I DID ask God for a baby boy so unless it is something not good for me or family, I believe God will give want His children ask for.

I guess I still gotta wait for the detsiled scan to be 100% sure and then I can start to buy baby stuff and decorate baby room. I still need to decide on a curtain colour!!!

**********

On a lighter note, Harry Potter 7 was launched on Saturday. I happen to be at Borders on that day and you can imagine the crowd although this time more people pre-ordered so the crowd was not as bad as book 5 or 6. Anyways, XD, my brother surprised me yesterday by presenting me with a copy of the latest HP book.

I am still reading it so I can't tell you what is the ending although if you are really curious, you could probably just search the internet now and discover a whole lot of spoilers. I was very surprised when XD gave me the book to read cos I recalled a conversation with him a few days ago.

XD: Ce, when are you going to buy HP? Me: Huh? I am waiting for you to buy. I did not buy Book 5 or 6 so what makes you think I am going to buy book 7?

Hehehe, in the end, he bought book 7 and even let me read it first cos he is going to re-read Book 6 before embarking on the latest AND last HP adventure. I heard that quite a number of characters got mained or killed. And I really really wish that she will revive Dumbledore. The story seems kinda empty without him.

What if it's true?

I had a dream last night. A weird dream but dreams are meant to be weird or else they would be reality, right? Anyways, I dreamt that I had just given birth, skipping all the birth process and somehow instead of an infant, my baby gal was a walking toddler. An active and naughty toddler at that.

My, my, what if it is true? What if it is a sign? I am gonna hv a naughty baby gal? Helllllppppp!!!!

By the way,

I have killed like tens of jumping ants around my office desk these few days. They just appeared out of no where beginning this week, attaching my PLAIN water and just being a nuisance running around the desk. Anyways, they are seriously jumping ants. When your fingers get near to them, they actually jump out of the way and land like a few cm away which makes killing it hard. If you notice, killing insects are a no-no for preg ladies but who cares. :-)

Clothing Woes

Yep, I am in the in-between stage where my clothes do not fit and yet maternity clothes are just too big for me. I have trouble dressing myself every morning. Urgh!!! Kinda frustrated.

Even with the many varieties of maternity clothings, you just can't do much when you are in the in-between stage. Seeing Gynae this Saturday, ooooo, I can't wait to see Bakong and know the gender.

As with everything, I might just have been a tad too anxious in preparing for baby's arrival. I am only 4 months preg and I am thinking of all sorts of things from cribs to births to baby's clothings, maid and breast pump.....hehehe.

Sorry for the lack of pictures and posts. The pregnancy is making me lazy. Yeah, I am blaming all my laziness on the pregnancy but when else can you do that guiltlessly except these 9 months.

WHY

is my next gynae appointment so far away? I wanna know baby's gender. I am sooooo curious, not a good thing. It is not helping that everyone I come into contact with will ask whether I know the baby's gender or not. Urgh!!!!!

Labour

I have never known that there are so many technicalities to childbirth. What with all the tearing and cuts and epidural and laughing gas......its all so confusing. Some people swear by "no painkillers" and yet some cannot live without it. Some would go for C-section without a second thought and yet others want to experience natural childbirth. So what is the best method anyways?

What first got me interested in childbirth method (as compared to previously either C-sec or natural) is this lady who is a staunch Christian lady who homeschools her children as well. Did I mention she has 6 kids? Anyways, she conducts the "Experiencing God through Pregnancy course" in Wesley and since she just gave birth to her 6th child, I really do not think she is conducting another class soon. Well, my church friend (single and unmarried) actually advised me to read up her website. http://www.buildingupmoms.com/ In her website she shares her many experiences with pregnancy, labour and home schooling.

When I read about her lastest birth on her blog, I was so touched and decided that it is probably how I would want Bakong's birth to be like. Yeah, natural and knowing that God is in control. Now I am so addicted to reading other people's birth stories, stories that might cause a woman who has not given birth to cringe in fear.

Hahaha, well, just remember that God is in control. When you think of God and your little baby who is coming out, hopefully the pain will be lessened. But then, what do I know, I might just scream and faint in pain and there goes my plan to have Bakong naturally......
