Talking about myths, there are plenty pregnancy myths and its crazy to follow every single one of them cos if you do, then basically, you might as well just stay home and not move. Hehehe. Just tot to share with you:

  1. Cannot drill or hammer in home
  2. When using scissors or knife, shadow of mummy cannot be cast over the equipment
  3. Cannot bend down, squat or sit cross leg on the floor
  4. Cannot drink cold water
  5. Cannot sew
  6. Cannot announce pregnancy until after 3 mths
  7. Cannot start buying baby things until 7 mths
  8. Cannot eat pineapple or cooling things
  9. Cannot tip toe, reach for high things
  10. Cannot wear high heels
  11. Cannot kill insects.....

Cravings........

Funny how I don't have any really strong cravings.....most of the time, there are more "dislike" food than "like" food for me.
Yup, food that I love, now the thought of it makes me sick. Food that I did not love, I still do not love. I think RH should be thankful that I don't make him go out and buy food in the middle of the night because of some pregnancy craving. Hahahaha.

However, I do feel that I have increased appetite for these food (just cos I can't eat other food):

  • Fried stuff
  • Curry stuff
  • Peanutty stuff (like satay gravy, pecel and gado2)
  • Sour stuff (vinegar, lemon, lime, orange juice....)

Yeah.....fish is now a no-no.....I use to think that I can just force myself to eat healthy food even though I do not feel like eating it but the distaste for food during pregnancy is just so strong that you are unable to overcome it. Haiz! At least morning sickness are a thing of the past.

12 weeks and 3 days......

My first trimester is almost over. Boy, am I glad. The morning sickness and loss of appetite is almost all gone. Can't wait till I am 13 weeks plus which is suppose to be when the critical stage is over.

I am also very much looking forward to finding out bb's gender. Hurray! Tomorrow I am going for my OSCAR test. Frankly speaking, there are so many pregnancy test, I am confused but I will just follow what my gynae suggested. Hopefully, I am able to know bb's gender tomorrow or else I gotta just wait till I am 4 mths.

Yesterday.....

was the first time I saw Bakong move......yeah....

I almost cried and shouted "Soooo cute" but for the fact that if I did, the nurse and gynae will probably think I am crazy and blacklist me forever.

Yep, Bakong is 10 weeks and 3 days old, 3.63cm and totally adorable. Yikes, it might seem like a totally mushy thing to say but experienced mothers will probably understand the feeling.

Last week, Bakong was only 2.2cm and just a round blob with a slightly enlarged end which the doc say is his head. The gynae mentioned that Bakong moved last week but I'm not so sure. Was it the scan moving?

Anyways, Bakong definitely moved yesterday cos I can see his little hands and legs moving in contrast to his head and body........soooo cute!!!! Hehehehe!

Also, I have decided on baby names.....I know it is a bit soon but I was worried that the morning sickness was gonna bug me till the end so I thought I would not have much time to think of baby names. Sooooo, if...

Girl Bakong: Cleo
Boy Bakong: Caleb

Still trying to convince RH that Caleb is a nice name though.....hahaha! Hmm, it also occured to me that both names happen to start with "C". :-) Oh well, luckily the MS is subsiding and I feel so much better and so much more energetic. Thank God the spotting and bleeding went away.
