Alphalicious!!!!!

It is going to be the last day of Chinese New Year this Sunday and there will be tons of cooking again. I am still reading my Bible in case anyone thinks otherwise. Still determined to finish reading the Bible this year. I hope that I have enough stamina till the end of the year.
I gotta start baking again too. Maybe I will bake this weekend, making closed Pineapple Tarts for RH to bring to Sydney.

Drama Queens.......
It is so rare that both of us like the same thing so it is so funny now that whenever we turn on the tv, its either 4400 or Heroes. In fact, RH is more addicted to it then me cos he actually stayed till 3 am to watch 4400. It is funny to watch.
Anyways, I think God heard my prayer and decided that RH gets to stay in Singapore for another week cos the Australian Embassy does not allow him to apply for another short term visa and wants him to apply for a long term visa which takes 4-6 weeks to approve. But he still has 6 days from his STV so he is flying off next week for one more week and coming back to apply for his LTV.
Still trying to put together the CNY pictures so please be patient.

Year of the Pig...
Hahaha! Not gonna happen if things remain as they are. RH is not here more than half the time. But but, HE IS COMING HOME TONIGHT! Hurray!
Few women are so happy to see their husband in the evening but I suppose if your husband lives like 8 hrs plane flight away, you would be like me.
Here is wishing everyone:
Eat more, collect more ang bao and make more money. Hee hee.
Tomorrow is New Year's Eve and we are gonna be busy cooking. Hope I don't forget my camera this time. Gonna scrap some CNY stuff.

Ring Around the Roses
A dozen pink roses. Thanks Honey for the flowers! I was pleasantly surprised cos I tot that RH would definitely forget. Not bad for my unromantic husband even though the florist did mess up, attaching a card with the words "Thank you for being my good friend". HELLO???? It is V day for goodness sake and the flower is from a loving husband to his "uhum" pretty wife. :P
Kinda touched by what RH did. You know how some guys just stop "wooing" their wives after they are married and just totally dispense with any gifts or flowers even during special occassions? Well, thank goodness RH is not one of those guys. It just makes a wife still feel special even though they are married and "not available" anymore. So, I implore ALL husbands to do soemthing special for their wife, even just a little thing like a hand picked, hand written card to show how much you love them.
Hurray, RH is coming back tomorrow. Gonna do my mani and pedi today and totally ready for tomorrow. :-)

Addiction!!!
Oops, that reminds me I have not read the Bible chapters for today. Yes, I have decided to embark on a ONE YEAR Bible Reading Plan amongst the hundreds of different types. I am determined to finish reading the Bible this year, a feat that has eluded me for a couple of years.
I started on Monday and since it is already February, the reading plan has obviously moved on to Numbers but that is ok since I have read Genesis and Exodux countless times. I just can't seem to read past them. So anyways, gonna post the readings everyday. Read with me should you choose to. :-)
Today's Bible Reading: Numbers 25-27

Baked tart crust with cream cheese filling over last weekend. Why is it called what it is called? Cos we baked with the intention of making a useful tart crust for our baby biz and just added the cream cheese filling to go with the crust. Hahahaha! Well, gonna experiment some more this weekend and hopefully bake the rest of my pineapple tarts.

By the way, I am scrapping all plans to cook on CNY. It is because the whole family decided to celebrate CNY in Singapore and that means mom is cooking. Yeah, the flood situation in Jakarta is not a condusive environment for celebration and so everyone is spending CNY in Singapore. Hurray Hurray!
Thank God that I don't get to spend CNY alone. Hahaha but I am not gloating about the flood too. I know many people have been displaced from their homes and are praying for them everyday.
