Building the lasagna!
{Complete with Cheese Toppings}
{Golden brown and out of the oven}
Must admit that it tasted pretty good and it tasted much much better than the last one I made. Reason being, that I made sure the lasagna was cooked thoroughly before putting it in the oven.
Anyways, SY made Peppercorn Steak with grilled vegetables, 3 Cheese Rissotto and Creme Brulee (Yummy, love Creme Brulee). Actually, I made the rissotto.....she just measured the ingredients. So, here it is.
{Look at the generous side dishes.....hehehe!}
{Proof of the medium cooked tender filllet mignon. Yummy!}
SY says that Creme Brulee requires an acquired taste and that is probably true. I never thought much about Creme Brulee until my ex-boyfriend introduced me to it. It is his favorite dessert and he was actually the one who sparked me to learn how to make Creme Brulee......its french and not italian, by the way.

It was dearest RH's 32nd birthday last Tuesday! Really really run out of ideas of what to do for his birthday so decided on a romantic dinner at Vis-a-vis, this French restaurant in Chun Tin Road but Mr. Scrooge complains that it is too expensive so we settled for Margarita's Restaurant at East Coast Road. We have wanted to try that restaurant for so long anyways.
It was a good experience. The restaurant was quite quiet for a Monday night and the food was good albeit on the expensive side.
I bought RH's cake from The Pattisier at Mohammad Sultan Road. They have a branch at Ann Siang Road and theyhave just the LOVELIEST cakes in Singapore. If only, I am able to own a cake shop like that in future. URGH! I love all things pretty and beautiful.
Anyways, they ran out of cakes that day and luckily for me, the chef who was suppose to be off duty happened to be still in the shop and he had a single undecorated choco cheesecake. The nice chef offered to decorate that cake for me. THANKS MUCH!!!!!! Muah Muah! I would hate to celebrate RH's birthday without a cake. Anyways, that is a lesson learnt. Please do order your cake beforehand.
{RH & his Birthday Cake!}
{RH holding out the Appetiser}
{RH & pretty GF!}

Our appetiser! Its a giant green chilli, sliced and stuffed with cheese, deep fried and topped with a tomato broth. Really good, btw.
{3 Big Candles & 2 Small ones!}
Speaking of RH, I was half annoyed and half disappointed at him the other day. He actually signed up for a Mandarin Class that happens to fall on the same day as our Alpha Class which we are helping out as Facilitators. Alpha Class is this basic Christianity Class in church.
I was annoyed because the whole reason I was in this Ministry was to accompany him and encourage him to minister in church. Also, he promised me that he was gonna grow in his Spiritual Life. Urgh, man and their short memory. And when I asked him about it, he actually said,
"Why didn't you remind me? "
As if it is my fault that he forgot! Anyways, I was feeling a bit bad for him cos I know how important the Mandarin class was to his business and I was the one who actually urged him to sign up for one but not one which falls on the same day as Alpha.
So, I told him to pray about it and our WONDERFUL and FAITHFUL Lord came through for him. He asked his instructor whether they were able to change the class to another day, instructor said only if the whole class agrees and guess what? The whole class agrees to change day. Amazing!
By the way, I bought him a Bible for his Birthday cos he always says he has one but I have never seen it before so decided to get him a nice, small and pretty Bible to carry around and if he does not use it, I will. Gonna get him a 2nd birthday gift, a massage voucher!
{You see the spot at the right hand corner, it was made by the motorbike}
{Heart Pain!}
{The motorbike was in worse conditon though!}
Actually, they are expandable towellets! Yep, they expand when placed in water. Kinda cute.....looks like marshmellows or something. The restaurant was quite stingy with it too but its understandable cos they cost 50 cents each.
{Hmm, the MEAT! Yummy!}
{Raw Beef anyone? Its actually quite delicious!}
{LF's Sisters! Guys, please do not ask me for their numbers.}
{Look at the amount of food on our table! I was really really full.}
{Hello, this is a restaurant, not your own home.}

Then the next day, we actually had home made BBQ. Argh, luckily, my immune system was doing well or I would have surely had a bad case of sore throat.
{Handmade Mini Doughnuts by CT & TT. They are really wonderful}
{CT also made some sambal kangkong!}
She basically marinated everything too. Bless her heart!
{Our HAPPY cooks!}
{Our HAPPY Food! If food could actually have feelings, I am sure that the food is happy}
{Hehehe, can't resisit a picture of my cute nephew......}
After Dinner, totally full to the throat, nothing to do, BORED! So, this is what pretty girls do after dinner.
{By the way, that feet protruding from the table is mine.....hehehe! :P}

There was more BBQ going on with my Bible Study Group. We ordered from BBQ Wholesale this time round. They were very professional and polite. Our food came vacuum packed and marinated with full flavours. They also had cooked food like Fried Vermicelli and all but I suggest you stick to their raw food.
{Look at the amount of food we have}
{Relaxing while we wait for the Food from our cooking team}
{Our wonderful cooking Team! Praise God for them!}

Our Hostess, DC, came up with a fabulous idea of cutting up some bananas, add marshmellows, chocolates, wrap them all up in aluminium foil and place them on the grill. What resulted was a fabulous sticky, gooey, absolutely delicious dessert.
{The lovely ladies!}

We went to the last Asian Aerospace Show in Singapore on Sunday! Was literally dragged there by RH. I did not wanna go and see a bunch of aeroplanes under tha HOT sun. Sun is no good for the soon to be pretty bride (ME). Anyways, I ended up going to accompany my dear Lao Gong and also cos Dad had 2 extra tickets. It was gonna be the LAST show!
Had to get a shot of an aeroplane. It is the LAST Aerospace show in Singapore unless they change their mind next year and have another "LAST" Asian Aerospace Show.
RH in his stupid Japanese Hat. Makes him look like a Jap Traitor with the army helicopter behind him. :P
{Look at the old "little boy".........}
