Back from the USA.....

Yes, I am back. As you can probably tell. I have not been updating my blog. Totally not my fault.

If you read my previous post, its actually about my Honeymoon to Koh Chang. You can also probably tell that there are not many pictures........that is really because there was somethign wrong with blogspot and any pictures that I have edited with Photoshop cannot be uploaded to my blog.

Thus, it totally destroyed my motivation to blog but alas, I have decided to abandon just that one blog and move on to greener pastures.
**********

I am finally moving into my new house after all the procrastinations. We were suppose to move in after our Honeymoon but Grandma sternly informed us that we are not allowed to move in unless it is on an approved auspicious date. Thus, we decided to move in July 18 (approved auspicious date) but RH moved back to my parents' place the next day cos "he does not want to be alone". *Snort* More like he does not want to leave the comfort of my parents' place.

Who can blame him? I miss it too. That was why I went back to my parents' place on Tuesday after just one night in my new home. Hee Hee. But alas, all good things come to an end and the inevitable has arrived. I have to finally move into my new home.

Reason being: My parents in law are coming tonight and I can't possibly lug them all (Father in law, Mother in law and Sister in law) to my parents' place nor could I just leave them by themselves at my new home.
**********

The arrival of my in-laws has also managed to create lots of stress for me. What amI going to cook for them next week? There is no hot water in the house. There are no curtains. There are no beds or table. The TV is not set up. There is no rice cooker. It seems that they have to do everything on the floor. This is the impression I am gonna create for them on their first visit to my home.

ARRRGGGGHHHHH!

Adding to that, my husband just absolutely do not understand why I am so stressed. Anyways, I did the best I can.....

1. Got the hot water working
2. Got part of the curtains done (bathroom and master bedroom)
3. Gonna chug a table and some chairs from my parents' place
4. Bless my mom! She got me plates, cooking utensils and rice cooker
5. Grab mattresses from my parents' place

I just hope that everything will be alright. Here is a picture of me and my mom at the Indonesian Wedding. Just a preview....

Koh Chang

Koh Chang is really an idyllic beach resort town. Most people travel by motorbikes without helmuts but I suspect that its only recently that they have the automatic bikes. What else would your mode of transport be if there is just one single road around the island.

Except for the fact that we went during rainy season, its actually a very enjoyable trip. For those of you expecting those beautifully clear and blue sea at the beach, you are up for a disappointment. The beaches, although wonderful and stretches forever, its not as clean and clear as in Phuket or Koh Samui. However, the attractive trait of Koh Chang is that it is not as commercialized as the islands mentioned above.

Because it is a beach resort island, the whole island is packed with resorts, budget, cheap, luxurious, spa, grand resorts....there are just so many many selections. Seems that a lot of locals go thee for holidays too and everything is soooooooo CHEAP!!!!

Food, massage, resort, bikes.......

Well, we chose to stay in 3 resorts. We spend the first two nights in Koh Chang Kacha. Fantastic hotel with fantastic rates.....the location of the hotel is terrific as well. Its within walking distances to massage parlors, souvenier shops, mini marts and restaurants. Its also located at the White Sand (busiest) Beach.

Of course we mentioned that we were on our honeymoon to all the hotels so here is what they prepared for us.

{Koh Chang Kacha, Aana Resort, Bhumiyama Hotel
}

I know, we are disgusting, right! I felt so ugly the whole time I was there due to my hair constantly getting wet due to rain, pool and sea. you know how newly weds are suppose to look really refreshed and in love......they must be wondering whether we are really newly weds.

The first day we were there, we visited both waterfalls on the island. Beautiful and I totally regret forgetting to bring my swimsuit with me. By the way, I bought a new bikini in Bangkok and finally got up the courage to wear bikini for the first time. I think it is totally addictive so there will be future chances of bikini wearing for me.

Back to the waterfalls.....we had to trek our way to the waterfalls as cars and motorbikes rae only allowed until 200 m before. Its wonderful actually because if people were allowed to drive up all the way to the waterfall, see the waterfall and come back out, it would totally not be worth the money. Yep, we need to pay 200 baht (about 8 SGD) to see the waterfalls and I did not even get to swim in the lake.

We rented a motorbike and travelled to one end of the island and I ended up with massive sunburn on my thighs and face. Yep, never never forget to wear sunblock even if the sky looks very very grey and there are interminnent light showers all the time.

Sidetrack: My sunburn has started peeling and its really gross......was debating whether I should take a picture and post it when RH goes:
"Ewwwww, don't lah"
I guess "don't" it is.

Food in Koh Chang

If you ever go to Koh Chang, you have to try the Italian Restaurant - Invito......its fabulous......i know it is probably the last place on earth that you want to eat Italian Food but its truly fabulous.

Besides having a very romantic atmosphere perfect for honeymooners, it boasts a whole lot of pastas and wood fired thin crust pizzas (very very very thin crust). Not the normal type of pastas and pizzas you are accustomed to, we had the beef tenderloin pasta and meat pizza.....HEAVEN.......

The pasta sauce has a very strong wine taste but utterly delicious, I can't stop eatting it the moment I tasted it. The pizza was good too but not as good as the pasta. The wood fired pizza was roasted just nice and the crust is so thin its almost non-existent. Loads of toppings with a delicious sauce.

Then there is Bang Bao - the fisherman village. Seafood is both fresh and cheap..........Between the 2 of us, we ordered a plate of prawns, butter baked scallops and squid and it only cost us less than SGD $10.........woo hoo....

Back Finally!!!!

I am finally back from my Indonesian Wedding. Was on leave from 8th to 29th June. Soooo cool! Totally lost contact with the internet world. Kinda misss it though.

I am now feeling better but on Thursday (the day I just got back), I was nursing an upset tummy, got sunburnt patches on my face and thighs, felt so grimy with sweat and sand and was extremely extremely tired after a whole day of travelling.

Seriously, it was a WHOLE day of traveling. We woke up at 6:45am to check out of the hotel and have a light breakfast before catching the 8 am taxi to the pier. There is only 1 taxi in the morning. Look at the picture of the taxi below. I know.....not exactly 4 star....

And we had to get on this one to catch the 9 am ferry to Trat (mainland) in order to catch the 11 am bus to Bangkok. (This was the worst part of the trip) It took us 6.5 hours to reach the Bangkok Bus Terminal by which time, my butt was sore from all the sitting.

Then, we had to rush and grab a taxi (cos the bus was late in arriving) to take us to the airport where the last flight to Singapore leaves at 7:40 pm. Finally reached Singapore at the fine time of 11:10 pm........whoops, a total of 15 hours or travelling. I do not recommend this for anyone.

**********

Our renovation is finally done. Now, I just need to wait for the furnitures and move all my stuff in. I can't believe how much stuff me and RH has. Its ridiculous. Time to throw out stuff which we do not need.

Anyways, my sofa came......its kinda small and we were totally ripped off by the salesperson because we changed the size of our sofa. But at least we have something to sit on now. Hee Hee.

We also bought our washing machine and vacuum........so happy. We bought a 7 kg Panasonic foam wash machine for $429 from Best Denki and got a Karcher wet and dry vacuum from Parisilk at Holland Village. Really happy with our purchases. Just realized that my fridge is also Panasonic adn we should totally have gotten a Panasonic Vacuum so that all our electrical appliances match....hee hee (totally irrelevant).

By the way, the karcher wet and dry vacuum is having a promotion and only costs $160 instead of $225.

{Karcher Vacuum A2204}

I tried out the vacuum last night cos RH complained that the apartment was still very very dusty and it was super great. Whether it was my imagination or not, I felt that the floor was less dusty......brooms totally cannot compare to vaccum. Only complain is the noise of the vacuum but I dun really mind as I dun plan to vacuum everyday......maybe RH will.... Hee hee

**********

After visiting our apartment a few times, I am really thankful for the breeze. Our apartment (although on the 2nd floor) is really breezy. Anytime of the day, its breezy and its great because it cuts out the need for unsightly fans......hee hee.

The breeze is really unbelievable. Even with a magnet door stopper, the breeze can slam our open bedroom doors.....(yes, it has happend several times).....gotta remember to place a stronger door stopper at all the doors.

Going to Surabaya on Thursday

Its another mad rush for me.....not so rush as to not update my blog it seems. I am leaving for Indonesia in 2 days for my wedding in Indonesia. Goodness......how many weddings can a person have?

This time, I am going away for 3 weeks so there is just a rush to do everything before I leave. Also, there is absolutely no internet connection in Surabaya......what am I gonna do?

Oooo, I promised pictures so I will post them up now.
{Living room with the wall painted already}

{with lightings in corridor}

{Lightings in the kitchen}

I hope that the renovations can be completed today so that I can get my keys back, and clean the place up. I need also to find a mover to move all my stuff to the new place.

**********

I went to the Comex on 3rd and 4th June.......at Suntec..... I think the whole of Singapore was in the fair. I don't understand why I go to each computer fair, squeeze with smelly people, get pushed around, stepped on by trolleys and heels.....and end up with nothing each time. I am NEVER going to another IT fair without the intention of purchasing something. Tadaaaaa, last weekend though, I bought something or rather RH bought something for me. Look at the number of things we bought....

{HP Laptop and Printer}

This is what we had to bring as we pushed through the crowds.....

Dad told us to get for him a HP laptop cum Media player (the sort that plays media without having to turn on the laptop) and a HP printer. RH got me a Canon Printer all in one.

Yahhhooooo! The all in one is really quite remarkable. We got the MP 530 which is like the king of "all in one" printers. It prints/scans/copies/faxes. It also does pretty good quality photo prints plus it has an automatic feeder (that RH insists he needs).

So, all in all, I am very happy with my purchase..........I can finally have a SOHO in my home and boy, am I gonna be sooo efficient and all. Hahahaha.

Lights are up.....

Our lights are going to be put up today. We went up to Starville yesterday to meet up with the defects team and also to receive our lights. Can you believe that the defects team have not completed their job till now. I received my key on 2nd Apr 2006, turned in my defect list 1 week after and its already June now.

In between these two months, I have had 3 inspections and all 3 with different people. Anyways, we managed to sort it out with the last person yesterday and he just called to say that all the defects has been recitified. GOOD.....

Anyways, we bought ALL our downlights on Sunday and they were delivered yesterday. Lights are going to be installed today. We bought total of 25 downlights, 1 hamburger and 1 ceiling lights for $680......expensive?

When we went there yesterday, they were painting the walls and ceilings. I love the Natural Cane color. Colours for my apartment!

Base Colour: ICI Dulux WW22617L - Natural Cane
Living Room: ICI Dulux SP20801 - Clam Shell
Master Bedroom: Nippon Paint 5003 - Orchid White
Guest Bedroom: Nippon Paint 5004 - Iris White

Was so tempted to take pictures but the renovation contractors were there and I was afraid that they would mistake us as not trusting them with the work. Hope they do a good job on the painting. Will take pictures this weekend to show you

I have to buy 5 more lights....

1 nos Chandelier for the Living Room
2 nos hanging/ceiling lights for the Study room and
2 nos hanging lights for the Balcony

Hope I can clean up and move in next week.......keeping my fingers crossed but I believe that I can cos I pray to God everyday for the renovations to be completed in record time. And if I don't get to move in next week, I am sure that God has a plan for that too.

Pictures by Kuang

Got my solemnization pictures from Kuang today. Yeah, Kuang is the photographer I hired to shoot my wedding. Had a hard time looking for photographers because I only started planning my wedding one month before the AD (actual day). Thus, all good photographers were taken but thank goodness, the cream of the crop was still available and that is Kuang.

He was with Pentaserve Photography until he decided to venture out on his own. I love his western photojournalism style and I can assure you that he is the best photojournalism photographer in Singapore currently and I could not believe my luck when he told me he was still available. His company is called 39 East and you can view his portfolio at his website http://www.39eastimages.com/

He is not cheap, of course, but his good and friendly personality more than makes up for it. I just wish that my pictures in Indonesia turns out as nice. Only one regret, I should have smiled more that day........ Well, below are some of my favorite shots....

{Me doing make-up}
{Sharing a joke}
{Me, walking to the elevator.....}
{One of the guests, actually my parents' friend}
{Me and Dad walking down the aisle}
{Us, praying with the Pastor}
{My best friend, Jayne}
{Touching moment}
**********
Did my motivational gifts test yesterday during small group. Turns out, what they deem as spiritual gifts are actually split up into spiritual gifts and motivational gifts. There are 7 types of motivational gifts and it is given by God, our Father. 1. Prophesying 2. Giving 3. Exaltation 4. Teaching 5. Mercy 6. Leading 7. Serving It is no surprise that my gift is serving and mercy. I am soooooo good at behind the scenes work but if you want me to take up responsibility, I cringe, I stress and I breakdown......

**********

God bless SL's heart. SL was my facilitator when I first attended the Alpha Course as a participant. She was also the one who mentored me as I started small group and on Tuesday, I was telling her about RH's grandpa who was sick in the hospital. I shall talk about why he was in hospital later. So, wonderful SL suggested that she and another sister in Christ, DA, go visit RH's grandpa at the hospital the next day to pray for him.

DA, also happens to be in the prayer ministry at church and I just jumped at the idea. So, the next day, armed with SL and DA, both who are dear sisters in Christ, I went to visit Grandpa. the next thing I knew, DA asked Grandpa whether he was willing to accept Christ into his life and he said yes.......

WOW WOW WOW, was what I was thinking. Dear God, you are wonderful indeed. I really did not expect that to happen and I know that God placed these two ladies in my life for something.
So now, I just have to continue praying and trusting that God will heal his physical wounds cos spritually, he is whole.

Honeymoon

I think my nickname is gonna stay "Mrs Halim". Everyone is still calling me that. I guess it is technically not a nickname cos that is probably the correct way to address me formally.

Anyways, I am confirmed going to Koh Chang, Thailand for my honeymoon. Yeah! At least can relax before starting work. The place is suppose to be really romantic and the prices are quite cheap too. I am going to bangkok on the 24 June and probably to Koh Chang on 26 June and will be there for 3 nights.

I really do feel a little cheated because we were suppose to go to Europe for our honeymoon but RH has a project which will start in July. I think he did this on purpose so he can get out of taking me to Europe. Mr. Scrooge......

Anyways, I am glad that we are at least going to thailand.

**********

Its funny that my whole apartment's electronic stuff costs us about SGD $300. This is the breakdown:

1. Living room TV Free (new Lim Siew Leong gift for my sister)
2. Bedroom TV $50 (2nd hand from RH's old apt)
3. Home Theatre $100 (2nd hand from RH's old apt)
4. Home Theatre for bedroom Free (new given by Uncle)
5. Fridge Free (new given by Lim Siew Leong wedding gift)
6. Washer Free (new, use Best denki coucher to buy)
7. Dryer $150 (2nd hand from RH's old apt)
8. Microwave RH's
9. Iron RH's
10. Telephone RH's
11. Rice Cooker RH's

Hahaha, I feel like its really amazing.....thank God......

File Marriage Application

I filed our my marriage application with ROM today. FINALLY! You can file online now, no need to queue at the ROM (Registry of Marriage) I am just so glad that my marriage certificate will be in English and that there is at least something significant to the wedding dinner in Singapore.

As you can see, I will be having my Singapore Reception at Pan Pacific Hotel. I have gotten Pastor Lilian Ang to be my solemnizer and both my dad and RH's dad to be witnesses. Cool eh!

It was rather short notice, I tell you. If I had filed it next week instead, I might not have made it in time for the solemization to beheld on the 13th May because ROM requires us to file the marriage notice at least 21 days before the wedding date. Overall though, it was really very fuss free as compared to registering your marriage in Indonesia. All I needed was our IC numbers and our witnesses' IC/passport number. If I had decided to register in Indonesia, I would need birth certificates and like tons of other forms.

Hmm, just realized that RH and me would be officially married in about a month's time. so, when I celebrate my wedding anniversary, should I celebrate in May or June? My siblings will all be here except one. That's ok though. Happy enough!

By the way, Panpac is going to charge me for the additional room required for solemnization......help! $350+++ it is practically daylight robbery.

Still lots to do though!
1. Photographer
2. Meet with Pastor
3. Confirm ROM venue
4. Bouquet and Flowers
5. Ang Bao Box & Ring Pillow
6. Printing

PANIC

Starting to panic now that my ROM is only 1.5 months away and my AD (actual day) is 2.5 months away. Anyways, all my wedding dates have been confirmed after so many ding dongs.

ROM cum Singapore Dinner
Date : 13th May 2006, Saturday
Location : Pan Pacific Hotel, Ocean Ballroom
Time : 5:00 pm

Church Ceremony
Date : 16th June 2006, Friday
Location : Gloria Kristen Abdiel, Pacar - Surabaya
Time : 11:00 am

Customary cum Surabaya Wedding Dinner
Date : 18th June 2006, Sunday
Location : Supermall Ballroom - Surabaya
Time : 6:00 pm

Now that all the dates are set, I have tons of things to do and no one to help me. Die Die Die!

Things to do for Singapore:
1. Find Printer for Invitation Cards
2. Create guestlist and call up friends to confirm
3. Find Pastor
4. Register for ROM
5. Find photographer
6. Make up Artist - Done (Hee Hee)
7. Choose Flowers for Deco
8. Choose Gown
9. Make sure that Montage is ready
10. Look for Wedding Favors
11. Address and send out Invitation Cards
12. Find guestbook and hong bao Box
13. Choose songs
14. Look for live band

Anything else I missed out? Not sure!

Luckily, Su Li reminded me the other day that I have to leave everything in God's hands. Yes, God will work on my tight schedule and just pull everything together by his mighty power.
**********
At the same time, my new apartment has already TOP and I have made arrangements to pick up the keys tomorrow. Oh dear, everything is coming at the same time. Serves me right for procrastinating. Anyways, I have decided to engage MOMO because they are the only design firm which can do classic/vintage design style at a cheap cost. And it is cheap because they only provide design and drawing services. I have to engage a separate contractor to do the actual renovation works.

Hope to get all the wet works done before my ROM so that my PIL (parents in law) can stay there when they come in May. I figured that the furnitures would not be completed in time but since I already have the mattresses and sofa, I think they will manage it fine.

Anyways, Momo's website is www.momo.com.sg. No point accessing it though because the website is currently under construction. The lady boss, Pam, is very nice and friendly. I recently found another designer that does classic designs but too bad, I have already signed with momo.

More Photoshop

Did 3 more layouts today! Still exploring the many different functions of Photoshop. I wish it was more user-friendly. It is a very powerful software and I can't wait to see what else I can do with it. :-)

Photoshop

Back from Indonesia! Took some supposedly outdoor wedding photo which turned out to be mostly indoor because of the heavy rain.

I seem to encounter bad weather each time I want to take wedding pictures. After coming back though, I decided to play around with my Adobe Photoshop. Here is what I did.

I know, I know, totally amateurish! Photoshop is a really hard software to master........

Anyways, the above is one of my favorite because of the way the photographer transformed the really ugly and olden curtains. Not meaning to insult my granduncles who owns them of course. And I am so lucky to have nice granduncles who owns big villa that allows me to take pictures there. Thank you, muiyiung and muiringma. Their villa is really big and beautiful. Although it is more than 10 years old, the place is absolutely very well maintained with renovations being done all the time. Also, they rent out the place so those of whom would like a relaxing time can go there. Thanks to my photographer, Kuo Sen from Goodman Productions. Sorry for doubting your ever skills.

Another amateurish try. I dunno how to get rid of the obvious lines between the photos.

Complain Blog

I do not know what to blog about! Just feeling rather bored at work. The new Civic is not here and the old CRV is gone. Dear dear, I thought I had a chance to use the Lexus before Dad came back but noooooooo....... the Toyota had to be sent for repairs which means that there is only 1 car at home and the chauffer gets priority just because of the number of people benefitting from his chauffering and plus, we do not wanna pay him for doing nothing.

I had to catch rides from everyone to work these few days and nothing to do at the office because I am not able to visit customers without a car. Dang! Then, as the Toyota got back yesterday, Mom and Dad came home an dthey are 2nd priority being the owners of the cars.....

So, this prompted me to whine!

ME: "Wheeeeeennnnnnnnn is the new caaaarrrrrr coming?" (with ferocious winds as background sounds!

I tried to make myslef busy these few days, making up the wedding photo lists that my WP (wedding planner) asked for but alas, I can only make the list for my side of the family and even that, I needed to seek the advice of Mom. There are just too many people. Oh, that reminds me, might as well do one for the Singapore party except that it will probably be done table-wise. You know where the bride & groom walks from table to table and takes pictures with everyone.

Also, I decided to make a soft copy of the schedule that my WP has given me. Why not just ask him for the soft copy you say? Well, I tried twice and he did not send it to me. There is really something wrong with the email in Sby. Its impossible.

My wedding day schedule. You would need Bionic eyes to read it. But right at the top of teh schedule says that I need to start my make up at 3 am. *horrified*

Decided to enlarge it for your viewing.

Anyways, notice the full day events. RH says that he is tired just by looking at the schedule. Meanwhile, I need to also find out where to buy ampoules for our Indo photoshoot in March. The MUA in Indo do not use ampoules. Judging by RH and my complexion, we definitely need it. Anyways, the PS has been confirmed on the 20th March. I will be attending my God-brother's wedding on the 18th, followed by my Dad's cousin's wedding on the 19th and finally PS on the 20th. That is a full 3 days of heavy make up and I get to test make up for the shortlisted MUA on 18th & 19th.

Muah Muah Muah!

Wanted to post a picture of my wedding invite design but I forgot where I have placed it. Too Bad! I will do it another day. I was scheduling when I needed to go for eyelash curling and upper lip waxing on my outlook yesterday and I discovered something horrible. My FIL (father-in-law)'s birthday is NOT on the 18th of June. Rather, it is on the 16th June. So, I was fuming mad because then why would my MIL (mother-in-law) insist that we change the wedding date to 18th June when it is NOT my FIL's birthday? Well, today I felt better though. No point bringing it all up and God tells me to take it easy and be thankful IN all situations.

Yup, DC, one of my small group members reminded us on Tuesday's session that God tells us to be thankful IN all situations and not be thankful FOR all situations. Isn't it amazing how a single word can change our perspectives?

Milan

RH finally got around to scanning in the 6 extra photo shoot pictures from Milan so there they are below. The pictures are not edited yet so there are lots of "boo boo". Well, we can't help being non models.

I got the doll from Centerpoint Shopping Centre from the second day me & RH got together. The bride doll is a sheep. See my previous post.

Chinese costume. Got the flower myself. Was suppose to match it to my red EG cos I thought the MUA would not provide as that was an additional outfit.

Night Scene at Boat Quay. This picture has another two pieces in series. Really nice but we had to give it up in preference to other pictures.

I love this pic!

This pic is of my EG. The album will not contain any pictures of me wearing this EG.

At Yacht Club! Notice that my ugly slippers showed. I did not think that it would.

I went back to Indo to settle my wedding invitation right? But ended up visting the Decoration people, my wedding planner and also the photographer once again. My wedding date has been moved to June 18th instead of May 6th cos my MIL insisted that she wants to celebrate it together with RH's Dad's birthday which happens to be on that day.

Urgh! Had a big fight with her on the wedding date. She wanted to postpone it too 1.5 mths later. Anyways, when I went back this time, it turns out that there are 4 other weddings from RH's family that coincides with my wedding date which means that there will probably be very little show from their side of the tables.

And now, I receive news that my sister might not be able to attend the wedding because there is a clash with her class schedule. Jeez......

I have decided that my theme for the wedding will be forest decoration and also Bossa Nova Jazz for the songs but alas, I think that my in laws disagree on everythign so I will probably not have any of those anyways.

Also, my wedding gown is gonna be a Vera Wang rip off. Hehehe! My Dad's best friend's daughter is a wedding gown designer and she design my wedding gown to be like one of Vera Wang's design. I went for the gown fitting and the dress was pretty even though it was only half done. I wanted it to be a surprise for RH so I was very angry when he peeked out of the curtain when I was fitting the gown. Anyways, he even forgot to take pics. Double URGH!

Choosing PIctures

Went to choose pictures from Milan on Sunday! Spent 4 hours there!

Phew! I thought we were gonna need longer because my sister actually chose pictures from 2 pm to 10 pm at night. So mine was relatively fast. Luckily, I had RH with me cos he helped to "delete" many pictures. Plus my pictures were relatively not as nice as SB's so its quite alright!

After the experience on Sunday, I found out a few facts about myself and RH. I am very not photogenic while RH is actually quite photogenic. There were many shots of RH alone that were quite nice but my alone shots were just horrible but I still chose more alone shots than RH. Hee Hee! That is my perogative as the BRIDE.

Next, I found that I totally look good in bright red. And it absolutely has to be bright red and not dull red. Cos, my face just looks so bright and rosy when I was wearign the KUA compared to my darker red EG (evening gown).

Was really disappointed with the pics as Botanic cos RH and me both love greeneries and we really wanted more green pics but the photographer chose to take those pictures in black and white or sepia or some sort.

But I think RH was right in choosing the yacht club scene over the beach. It had water but looks different from everyone else's. :)

Anyways, I was so scared before viewing the pictures cos I know that RH and me will get into an argument about topping up for pictures but luckily my SWEET Fiance gave in and top up 20 over pics which is not cheap lah.....but on the other hand, I had to give up many pics that I liked too.

Hope the Indo photoshoot will be nice too! I think I am gonna give the sparklers another shot and maybe some poses that I kinda regret not doing the first round. Pictures to follow later!

Milan Photoshoot

I think I have just quit about writing on RH and my life story. Better to continue with everyday mundane stuff. My writing is not able to catch up with everyday events.

So, after I came back from my week long "vacation" in surabaya planning for my wedding (reason for quotation marks on vacation), I was so so so really bushed. Waking up everyday at 6 am in surabaya, the sun there really rises early, not that the sun actually eats worms. Coming home really late like 11 pm and running around making decisions about a million things and at the same time have to battle my FMIL. Hehehe.

Even after sby (Surabaya), I am not able to rest. One of my small group members got hitched. Congratulations Adrian. Yup, so happy but then the bad news is that he will be moving to England to be with his wife. Means, no more Bible Study with him. Nope, his wife is not ang moh, he is actually. He is originally German and his wife is a Singaporean studying in England, I think!

Then came my PS (wedding photoshoot). I had to wake up at 6 am again. This time to wash hair and be at studio by 8 am.

Some pictures below ffrom behind the scenes PS. Hehehe, RH also very vain, he had me take many pictures of him.

Me & MUA (make up artist) Fanny from Milan. I must truly sing her praises. She really listens and tries to give me what I asked for. Plus, she is really detailed. She took a long time with my left eye cos my eyes are not proportiona and she never gave up after several tries.

{Half done, a little more to go}

{First Indoor style done, 4 more to go}

{RH's turn!}

{Traditional costume. Look so chinese!}

{Taking a break......going for another style}

{Done! Mom is gonna kill me if she sees me in a veil before my wedding}

{Still got time to read some more....}

{Last hairstyle. There are ribbons in front but cannot see from photo. Have to wait for the actual ones to be done}

{RH's back}

{RH's Front......}

{Around the studio! Our stuff all spread out on the table. Hehehe!}

{Make up area!}

We went to 3 places for outdoor! Wanted four but alas, Sentosa has to be out. RH keeps telling me that we can still take pictures in Indonesia and its irritating me because the style of teh photographer is different. And there was no sun! Now, really worried that the photos will look grey!

Forgot to throw in a picture of my shoes. Cute hor! RH not very tall so I must wear flats. Bought this in JB (Johor Bahru) and added the ribbons myself. :P
