Lunar New Year Celebrations....

Gong Xi Ya Gong Xi, Fa Da Cai....(background music)

Lunar New Year is here! As usual, we are assaulted this year by the numerous loud, cheesy, merry songs. Wahaha, but I think it is an essential ingredients to the whole CNY celebrations. My last year of receiving hong bao and celebrating it "Gao Jia" style.........

We had such a boisterous Reunion Dinner with lots of yummy food. See pictures below. Whereas, my future-in-laws had such a quiet CNY spent on the mountain top. Oh dear! Is that what my future CNYs are gonna be like? Well, if we are gonna spend it on the mountains, I must must insist on at least a steam boat worthy of CNY.......

Anyways, I stuffed myself with so much good food I literally felt the fats squishing into my tummy. Yes, my problem area.....all the fats just go right to it. I gotta start dieting immediately after CNY to be in time for my photoshoot in Indonesia. Hehehe, but CNY is a full 15 days.

{Jin Qian Bao or Money Bag........}

{Dumplings.......}

{Glutinous Rice Rolls.....the stuff in the middle is century eggs & ginger}

{Buddha Jumps Over the Wall (look at the fat abalone & sharksfin)}

{Dong Fen, Chap Choy & Tempura.....hehehe, international cusine!}

{I know its unbelievable but yes, more food.......}

As you know, I am going to Surabaya tomorrow so I am writing this blog first cos you do not know how absolutely difficult it is to get internet connection in Surabaya. Its probably easier to find an aligator in someone's backyard. SERIOUSLY!
