V-Day!

Good Morning! It's V-Day today. A chance for flower and chocolate companies to make lots and lots of $$$. No flowers for me this year because my scrooge treated me to expensive V-day Dinner. I think he can only mange expensive dinner OR flowers each year. :(

Oh well, I am even more scrooge than him this year. My excuse being, I don't know what to buy for him and I don't have time lah. But I did make a handmade V-day card for him. Practising my scrapbook skills at the same time.

Front Page! I think the wordings are a bit slanted but hey, this is HANDMADE ok!! Better than store bought mah. (Yah right!)

Inside view! Managed to find a mini picture of me & RH at the last minute. Its actually a leftover from the photos I developed for his 2004 Christmas Present. Hee Hee, he does not know this.

Matching Envelope! Good thing about customization, you get to have matching envelopes.

I think that RH was quite touched lah. He kept asking me how I did this and how I did that and all. So, for all you gals out there who does not know what to give (or just wanna save some money lah) can make V-day cards for your loved ones.

On Sunday, we went to church and had lunch at Killiney Kopitiam. So here are some pictures to show. Actually, I just wanted to practise taking pictures of my food. Still find it weird and paisei to do that. I am afraid people will think I am crazy.

People: Eh, look! That girl taking pictures of her food leh......what is so nice about taking pictures of food? So suaku......

Then followed by big loud laugh WAHAHAHAHA!

I will be so embaressed! But I have to pick up the courage to do so for the sake of my blog. But no one reads your blog, duh! Ya, but I do and I wanna see the pictures as memories too. Aiya, some people just do not have any sentimental feelings.

Killiney Kopitiam. Curry Chicken and Kaya Toast. Wow, their curry chicken is quite shiok. Very thick and spicy curry. I don't wanna imagine how much coconut milk they used. It was quite delicious and there were many people who ordered that.

Sunday was Yuan Xiao Jie (last day of CNY) or some people know it as Chinese Valentine's Day. As usual, my parents invited a whole bunch of people to their home for dinner. Mom was busy preparing food as usual and I managed to get a few shots of the preparation process. Sorry, I don't have recipes. Forgot to get it from Mom. Hopefully, I will be able to post the recipes and pictures together next year.

Later that night, I decided to catch up on my beauty routine by masking my face and soaking my feet. Guess what? RH decided to do the same thing except he can't use my mask because his face got lots of acne and stuff so I am afraid that my mask will clog his pores further so I recommended him the pore cleaning Japanese Charcoal Mask I bought in Daiso.

Trying to act cute by holding my doll. Hey mister, it does not make you any less scary. Actually, it reminds me of this chimmney character that my aunts used to tell me about when I was younger. He was suppose to be a nemesis of Santa Claus. Funny right, in Indonesia, there is a Santa Claus nemesis. Hahahaha!
