Hurray! Its a success!
This is the children's table, or rather semi-adults.....the "old" people can't seem to get over their minds that we are not children anymore.
{Cheers to the New Year!}
{My cousins....... }
Family picture! Notice Alpha (the Golden Retriver) at the right hand side.
Year of the Dog mah!
{Collecting Ang Bao......look at the long line. Hehehe!}
{Now adays, we add a kiss for the Ang Bao.....}
Vegetarian food.....our traditional Mi Sua, fake pig, fake fish and you tiao! Everythign is fake. Also, in our family, in addition to eating noodles, we have to eat a bowl of rice but we are not suppose to finish anything to signify that our bowl or money will never be empty......
There are lots of other traditions too like we are not suppose to utilize any sharp objects during 1st day of CNY, no washing of hair (luckily still can bathe), no sweeping, etc....
{Nathan, stop looking at your Ang Bao, let me take that away..... }
{Much better!}

***************
Where should I continue my story. Well, on Saturday, RH surprised me with a Valentine's Day dinner. Yep, was so worried that he would foget and be lazy and just not celebrate V'Day. Hehehe, although I guesed it before we even step into the restaurant but it was good effort on his part. Thanks Honey!
Anyways, he brought me to Lawry's at Paragon.....hee hee! Was so happy! You might think "cheh, Lawry's only mah". Hey, but you gotta remember that the BIGGEST scrooge on earth brought me to Lawry's. And all this time, I thought that he loved $$$ more than me. Sorry, dear!
It was my first time at Lawry's although I had heard lots of good reviews about it. (I know, I am suaku, mountain turtle, watever!!!) We had the pre V'Day set dinner. Lawry's had a V'day set dinner and a pre V'day set dinner. The dinner was nice but one suggestion to make for Lawry's. Try to decorate the table for V'day couples, please. It would really add a nice touch.
I don't have many pictures to share because my camera ran out of battery so I started to take it out on RH. My battery did not even last till the main course and it kinda just died after I took RH's pics so there was not even a pic of ME. *sobbing*
ME: My camera is out of battery. You lah, did not tell me we were gonna celebrate V'day today so I can charge my batt mah.
RH: How to? Its a surprise mah.
ME: Well, the surprise should have included a camera too. Why didn't you bring your camera?
RH: *no more comments, how to refute his smart GF?*
Yup, my logic is just so perfect! Hee Hee. he really should have brought a camera too. Anyways, pictures below, limited pictures anyways.
Appetiser, some scallop on half shell......hehehe, should have taken picture of the menu. Plus, V'day dinner does not have to be eaten by couples. I saw a family of 5 having the V'day set too.
They had special mineral water instead of the usual tap waer. You can choose still water or sparkling and we chose the still water. Cost $6.50 per bottle. Really some very expensive water.
RH, enjoying his very expensive water.....
