My 2 boys (aka HB and C) are noisy sleepers. Yes, they make all sorts of noises when they are sleeping. I have not been able to sleep very well lately and naturally, these night time beepers (who sleeps with me) are not helping me to drift off to zzz land.
Thank goodness RH is not a chronic snorer or else I would probably have filed for divorce within the first week of our marriage. Its just that he loves to grind his teeth when he sleeps. Recently (in the past 6 mths), it has been getting louder and more frequent. Much so that I every morning when I wake up, I would expect to see his teeth all filed down to just 1 cm above his gum but of course that nevers happens. Besides the irritating grinding, RH is a tosser. Yes, he tosses to the right, then to the left, then he pushes away his blanket and pulls it back to cover him again and so on. Sometimes, he would push me all the way to the edge of my side of the bed. I don't mind his tossing as much as the force of his tossing. He tosses with so much strength that the whole bed vibrates and that is pretty much what keeps me awake at night. I would be drifting off to sleep and suddenly, "earthquake".
The little noisemaker, thankfully, has no teeth so he does not grind but he does have saliva and a tongue so he would make the loudest blowing, smacking and sucking noises. Sometimes, the sound is so loud that I am sure he is awake but when take a glance, the little "angel" is a mask of peaceful sleep. Then there are the dreams.....sometimes a loud gurgle, a laugh or crying when it is a nightmare. These 2 nights, I am also awoken to his gas movements.....hahaha, how can a person so small make so much noise? I really wonder.....
All in all, I guess I have three options:
1. to move to another bedroom
2. to buy ear plugs OR
3. to just get use to my two noisemakers :)
